Queens Park Community School is a secondary school located in the southern end of Brent in Queens Park Ward. It is a popular, oversubscribed, mixed cooperative academy of 1200 students.
Brent Pure Energy has installed a 50 kWp solar PV array on Science Block P at Queens Park Community School. This equates to 198 panels and is generating some 47,500 kWh of electricity per annum. More than 99% of this electricity is used by the school, resulting in a saving to the school of around £2500 p.a.
